QSL Cards (validation cards)
The caed gives it already since the starting times of the amateur radio. Incomplete knowledge of the wave propagation left emerge to that time many doubts, if suddenly in the own receiver a unusual private radio station was to be heard. The observer wrote therefore the listened to station on a simple postcard, to procure itself assurance over transmitters and location (QTH). This card gave the radio amateur information over the wave propagation. So the first QSL-Cards emerged
