Frequency and Time Measuring Extension

As described in the Journal "Funkschau ", Edition 7/1984 (Franzis Verlag, Munich)

The oscilloscope is now often in amateur laboratories found. An addition with meter and frequency meter makes dealing with a simple oscilloscope more comfortable.

The oscilloscope is and remains the classic instrument of the technician. In the upmarket integrated frequency counter and time are now standard, while affordable for the hobby-electronics devices such useful features (still have not).

The presented circuit provides a remedy. It allows the measurement of the frequency and duration of a period shown on the oscilloscope signal (picture). Can also be measured on the screen at a swept signal the time for a period at any point. See here for a cursor is moved to this point. For the calibration of this universally designed
No additional equipment required measuring equipment.

I used this add-on oscilloscope in conjunction with the Kenwood Station Monitor SM-220. But after I received an oscilloscope (HAMEG HM-605) rose, this addition was not as important.
