A modern amateur radio project for young and old

An SDR-IQ receiver for 4-6 amateur radio bands.

Once the SDR-beginner-kit has been reproduced successfully in large numbers, were always requests for further development. The FA currently in the newly launched successor system will indeed satisfy the special-needs. . . but may, as a sending option is included, no longer in the lower low-cost sector are located. In the following featured receiver variant is a "drilled" SDR-entry kit for the practice with some important improvements. The main differences to [1] are:

• The quartz-LO is replaced by a tunable via the RS232 interface PLL-Oszillator. By Burkhard Kainka and Dirk Neyen written tuning software is freely available to all subsequent users. (Now we have a DLL for WinradHD with which the Harzburg radio can be controlled directly.
• At the entrance can be made more cost while maintaining the single-circle principle, but with three switchable coils and two capacitance diodes of the input circuit almost the entire short wave range are brought into resonance.
• All components, connectors and controls are located on a solid double-sided board with plated through pads, no wire connections must subsequently be introduced.
• As the only 16-pin SMD component of QRP-project is already preloaded, this kit for newcomers and experts alike.

ANNEX: Software
The ideal software for our radio program is the WinradHD of Mario, DG0JBJ. Robert has a matching one extra DLL written with the description directly from our Fernempfangsradio WinRad out can. Furthermore, this DLL offers the possibility, frequencies and transmitters to save them later from a list and call again.
