What is HAMRADIO?


Amateur radio
........ is a non commercial radio service, from personal interest pursued, presupposes the property of a amateur radio licence; through amateur radio statutes regulated .

Amateur radio operator
. ...... is someone, which does not deal with the radio technique without professional, works with private radio equipment (transmitter and receiver) and contacts other amateur radio operators around the world. The radio amateurs got special, small bands of frequencies in the short- and ultra short frequency bands. The German radio amateurs are organized in the Deutschen Amateur-Radio-Club (DARC, Geschäftsstelle: Baunatal). In the Federal Republic of Germany it’s only allowed to work with a licence of the RegTP (Regulierungsbehörde für Telekommunikation und Post).
